Why Choose a Respo 24/7 Self-Service Sales Station When Buying a Trailer?

The self-service station offers several advantages:

  • Trailers are immediately available – no need to wait for delivery;

  • You can purchase a trailer regardless of the day or time;

  • The entire process is simple and completely contactless;

  • Trailers are registered, insured, and ready to be used in traffic right away.

The purchasing process is extremely simple:

  1. Inspect the desired trailer on-site.

  2. Click the “Buy” button on the website.

  3. Enter the buyer’s details. Make sure the information is correct, as ownership transfer will be carried out through the Estonian Road Administration’s e-environment based on this data. The buyer must confirm the ownership transfer within 5 days.

  4. Choose your preferred payment method and pay via bank link. Card payments are not available on-site.

  5. After the purchase, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to unlock the trailer.

  6. Once at the location, click the “Trailer Info and Collection” button in the email, then select “Release Trailer.”

Note: This action will unlock the trailer you purchased from the sales station. If unlocking fails for any reason, the system will notify you and offer the option to retry.

Ownership transfer is initiated in the Transport Administration’s e-environment no later than the next working day after the purchase. The purchase invoice will then be sent to your email.

You can pay for trailers at the 24/7 sales station using bank links from Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor, Coop Bank, and Citadele, or with a credit card. Cash or card payments are not accepted on-site.

While on-site, click the “Trailer Info and Collection” button in the email or the link received via SMS, then select “Release Trailer.” If unlocking fails, the sales station will notify you and offer the option to retry the process.

Yes, only you can release the trailer using the link sent to your email or SMS at your chosen time. This means you can send someone else to collect the trailer — simply unlock it remotely at the appropriate time.

You should collect the trailer within 5 days after the transaction.

All trailers are insured by PZU Insurance. After the purchase, the existing insurance remains valid, and the new owner has 30 days to transfer the policy. If continuing with the same insurer, the balance of the current policy will carry over to the new contract. If you wish to switch insurance providers, contact PZU customer service at +372 622 4599 or info@pzu.ee. Any unused premium will be refunded after the policy transfer.
